Volume Levels on the stage must be kept to a minimum. I know rock and roll is loud, and I promise you the House will Rock. But you must also be aware that corner loading a band in front of a highly reflective surface and long reverberant ceilings can easily become incomprehensible noise. Especially on stage. The house sound system has been tuned for this room, and everything on stage gets mic’d through the system. Stage amps need only drive the stage, not the house. Put your amp where you can hear it and leave the house sound to me.
Turning your self up does NOT mean you’ll hear yourself better. In fact it makes it worse. And only adds to the chaos in front of the glass and long reflecting roofs. If you Can’t hear the vocals, it’s because the stage volume has crossed the room/stage threshold and needs to come down a notch. Once things come below a level where the ceiling isn’t driving back, everything becomes fully audible again.
If you want to sound good, and I know you do. Keep the stage volume down and let the house sound system take over. I promise everyone will be glad you did

Nicely spacious for a 4 piece act, but we’ve had an 8 piece band on it too.
